Thanks, now it works. However, when using multidimensional syntax, the EAP/PV are available with the original 1-5 response categories. Why is that not possible with both models?

Hi, I'm comparing two models, a unidimensional Rating scale Rasch model and a multidimensional RSRM. When running the URSRM, I'm trying to obtain the EAP/PV reliability but Conquest says they are unavailable. The basic syntax is:

Title URSRM;
datafile Scale.txt ;
format responses 1-32;
codes 1,2,3,4,5;
model item + step;
estimate !abilities =yes;

Hi again. I've tried to set another directory for Conquest but it seems that this cannot be changed. The default path in my case is "c:\user\windows\system32". I always have to copy my .txt files to run the analysis. Do I have to change the location of the software files to  another place?

Hi. After running a multidimensional Rasch analysis of a 3-category scale, the estimates of the step categories are shown with the Table Item Parameter Estimates, but the value of the last step is constrained. Is it possible to free this parameter so that I can see the real value?

Hi everyone!

I'm trying to run a 6-factor scale using multidimensional rating scale model; however, when I select the option Table Combined Item Difficulty Map, it only appears the distribution of the items. At the left space, appears "case estimate not requested". Did I make something wrong? My command is:

Hi everyone! my name is Alejandro Veas, I´m researcher at the University of Alicante (Spain), at the Department of developmental psychology and didactics.

I am trying to make some Rasch analysis of a school attitudes test, which has 35 items with 7 categories and 5 dimensions. N= 1400 secondary students. I used rating scale model in multidimensional Rasch form.
My question is: Is any criteria to select the number of nodes?. I´ve used 1000, but I don´t know if that´s correct.
