ConQuest News / Mac version of ConQuest

We hve been succesful in running ConQuest on one Mac but not yet on others. We don't know exactly when these problems will be resolved. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Questions and Answers / FAQ: ConQuest cannot find my data file

Many users ask us why ConQuest gives an error when reading in the response data file. The easiest way to avoid this problem is to specify the full path for all the files that are imported and exported. For example

   C:\<path to the folder>\<file name.xxx>;

If you need to repeat this full path often in one command file, you can use the macro language

   let path=<path to the folder>;
   datafile %path%\<filename>.sav !filetype=spss, responses=item1 to item10;
   show !estimates=latent >> %path%\<filename>.shw;


Another option is to save the ConQuest program files into the directory you work in.
