Convergence trouble for cases
« on: November 09, 2017, 01:43:30 AM »
Hi,

I've run a dichotomous analysis with 296 cases, and it all appeared to work until I tried to export the wle when I got a message about convergence trouble for a number of the cases.

Why does this happen? and is there a way of overcoming this?

Thanks,
Jess

Hi Jess,

Can you provide your data, syntax, and output, including the warning message?

Alternatively can you produce a minimum working example using the notes and tutorials? See: https://conquest-forums.acer.edu.au/index.php?topic=1239.0

Convergence problems for extracting expected scores for some individual cases are usually not a problem and often related to missing data.

Hi Dan,
Thanks for getting back to me. All the cases which were problematic had missing data.
Cheers,
Jess
